How do you give the most fun and memorable book report in your class?
Follow these steps!
✅ Pick a super fun book – done!
📖 Prepare a great story to tell
(Here’s what to include:
• Which book did you choose and why?
• What’s the book about, and how did it feel to read it?
• Optional: Read a short passage from your book.
• Who is the author and who is the illustrator? (Show a few pictures from the book!)
• Who in your class would you recommend this book to?)
🗣️ Practice your presentation really well
💻 Make a cool PowerPoint, or bring fun pictures to show during your presentation
🎥 Maybe there’s time to show a cheerful book video!
Check out Nanda Roep’s YouTube channel and choose your favorite!
(English videos are coming soon!)
❓ Play a quiz with your class!
At the bottom of this page, you can download a fun quiz with 5 questions. Let’s see who was paying attention!
😄 Want to add a little fun? Tell a joke or riddle!
You can find a sheet with 3 fun riddles at the bottom of the page.
📚 End with something fun to hand out!
→ Hand out cool bookmarks to everyone. You’ll find them in a printable file below. There are 4 bookmarks per page — you can cut them out yourself or let your classmates do it in groups. Then: color and decorate them however you like!
🍬 Finish off with a sweet treat!
→ You’ll also find a recipe for “Disco Balls” below. You can make them at school, or bring them from home in a fun dish. Yum!
